I was intrigued to explore how the body is made and how it works,” says Dr. Waters. “I felt proud when a stranger would walk up to my dad in public, shake his hand, and profess genuine gratitude for his help. I wanted to be able to help my community the way he has.” When asked what her care philisophy is she states “I like the long term relationships that can be built with patients, and I love teaching them how their bodies work or why they aren’t working. Once I can explain the how and why a patient may be experiencing certain symptoms, there is a greater likelihood of the patient understanding the healing process and treatment plan. I ultimately aim to optimize function and minimize symptoms.

Outside of work, Dr. Waters enjoys traveling, music, photography, hiking, Boston sports, movies, musicals, singing, dancing, comedy, and spending time with her family.
